Improving Ocean Navigation

CSIRO

Through the Bluelink Project, CSIRO has played a lead role in partnership with the Bureau of Meteorology and the Australian Navy in developing and implementing a sophisticated global ocean forecasting system with huge benefits for the Australian public, military and maritime safety.

THE CLIENT’S BRIEF

Within the sphere of Climate Science research, CSIRO wanted to highlight their long involvement in partnerships of national and international significance.

THE STORY REIMAGINED

We felt it was paramount that all three partner organisations were able to reflect on their involvement at locations relevant to their own work – so our video production was shot in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart. Motion graphics were also vital to communicating some of the complex science for a broader audience.

“Steve took the time to understand what we do, how we do it, and why. He was professional throughout – always striving to keep the needs of our organisation front of mind. The end result is a video production that perfectly meets our needs and will be a resource drawn on many times in the future. Reimagine Films are a great outfit. Highly recommended.”
