Overview in 2018

CSIRO Oceans & Atmosphere

From Ningaloo Reef to the Great Barrier Reef, from aquaculture in Chile to the waters of the Antarctic, CSIRO’s Oceans and Atmosphere business unit is involved in an extensive range of research projects.

THE CLIENT’S BRIEF

CSIRO’s Oceans and Atmosphere leadership team wanted a visual summary of their unit’s most impactful projects to present at their quadrennial Business Review.

THE STORY REIMAGINED

Much of the preparatory work was in assessing what subject matter could be visually supported with pre-existing footage and then crafting a spoken narrative on that basis. We recommended this narrative be delivered by O&A’s Director using multiple backdrops around CSIRO’s Hobart facility.

“STEVE’S PROCESS WAS TO IMMERSE HIMSELF WITHIN THE CONTENT TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE STRATEGIC DRIVERS BEHIND THE BUSINESS. THIS WAS CENTRAL TO CREATING ENGAGING VIDEOS AND A POSITIVE RESULT. STEVE IS A CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL WHO WORKS WELL WITH FILM TALENT AND ORGANISATIONAL LEADERS, BUILDING TRUST WITH HIS HONEST AND CREATIVE APPROACH.”
